Getting Started

PERUSALS

Anyone may order a perusal (preview) of any musical without registering on the website. Our perusals are all digital downloads that contain 1) a complete piano/vocal score 2) the script 3) full audio demos of all the songs in the musical.

To purchase a perusal, just click the Musicals/Perusals tab at the top of the home page. This will take you to our musicals where clicking on a title or the photo will take you to the Landing Page of that show. In order to purchase a perusal, choose “perusal” from the “Choose Product” dropdown menu at the top/right of the page. Then choose “add to cart” which will take you to our PayPal interface where you may pay by credit card or by Paypal. Just fill out the required information (which helps confirm your credit card identity), then click Proceed to Paypal. You will be given the option to pay by credit card before confirming the sale.

GETTING A QUOTE

Once you’ve found a musical you think you’re interested in producing, you’ll want to get a quote from us to have some general idea of what it will cost to produce the show. In order to do that, you will need to use the “Inquire/Quote” tab to get to the “License A Show” form. Be sure to read the information above the form as it details the procedure and timelines related to the quote. Fill out the form in its entirety and click “Submit”. We will take the information you have provided and respond to you with an estimate of your cost based on the information you provided. Note: This is not a final price. You must rent production materials and you may choose other product options (ex. Orchestration, Logo pack, Accompaniment track, etc. ) for which there are rental fees. There are also royalties which are determined by the actual attendance at your performances. Everything is spelled out in more detail in the Production Agreement you will receive with your quote.

LICENSING A MUSICAL

Once you accept the offer you were quoted and choose to move forward, you will sign the Production Agreement and submit that, along with the required fee payment. Once we have received and processed your Agreement and Payment, you will be notified that your production has been officially authorized and we will send you links to download the production materials for your show. Procedures, deadlines, restrictions and other important information is included in your Production Agreement. Please read it carefully. You are responsible for knowing and following all guidelines and procedures. Failure to do so can possibly jeopardize your production. That said, it’s not nearly as scary or as complicated as it might sound. We have made our Production Agreement as concise as possible – about half the length of those provided by our competitors – and we’ve also made it easy to understand. You’ll be off and running in no time.
