While Christmas is a joyful time for some, it is also a reminder of loss and loneliness for others. With hope and humor, Christmas Blue pulls back the curtain on the places we all struggle, and invites you to experience how true Hope springs from the bluest places we’ve got – especially at Christmas time. This simple-to-produce musical requires no set, minimal costumes and props yet for all its simplicity, packs a powerful punch as it unveils the complexity of life and how the child in the manger makes sense of it all.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no accompaniment track available for this musical because the setting of the entire musical is in the context of a church service (Christmas program). The only instrumentation is a live worship band (Piano, bass, drums, guitar) which can be found in most churches these days. Rhythm charts are provided (including a written piano/vocal score) for the players. The live music adds to the authenticity of the musical since the setting is a “live” church service.
